Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – During the demonstrations to mark the victory anniversary of 1979 Islamic Revolution in Qom, Ayatollah Mortadha Moqtadayi, spoke with the media thanking the people of Iran for taking part in the mass demonstrations nationwide.
The senior Shia cleric said, "We must express our gratitude to the faithful, revolutionary and courageous people of Iran who have continuously voiced their support for the Islamic Revolution and Iranian administration since its victory in 1979."
The Shia cleric added, "Iranians' mass participation in this year's demonstrations displayed certain grandeur of their unity and made these rallies even more epic."
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Moqtadayi asserted, "These mass rallies will serve the benefit of the Islamic world as a whole and enhance the dignity of the Muslim Ummah; they will also make the proponents of the Islamic Revolution happy and cause disappointment among its enemies," Hawzah News quoted him as saying.
Referring to the message sent out by Iranian masses who took part in the demonstrations, he said," Every step that Iranians took in these rallies was an arrow shot in the enemy's eyes and those who threaten Iran and the Islamic nation. Such demonstrations will disappoint our enemies."
